Fired by MU, Amorim is giving up his expensive mansion in England

Following his departure from Manchester United, Ruben Amorim is about to part ways with his English mansion, officially ending his short stint at Old Trafford.

Ruben Amorim is not only concluding his brief journey at Manchester United but is also about to leave behind his luxurious life in England. After MU’s decision to dismiss him, the Portuguese coach is expected to leave the mansion valued at over £1.2 million in Cheshire, marking a complete end to his turbulent 14-month tenure.

According to Goal, the house Amorim is about to leave belongs to a group of luxury properties in northwest England. The mansion features six bedrooms, numerous spacious living areas, a private home cinema, and a separate garden, ensuring high levels of privacy and security. This was the residence of Amorim and his wife during his time leading the Red Devils.

The departure from the mansion comes only days after Amorim was officially dismissed by MU. Previously, following a draw against Leeds, the 41-year-old tactician openly criticized the club’s management, claiming his role had been undermined. Amorim stated: “I came here to be the manager of Manchester United, not just a coach,” and simultaneously declared he had no intention of resigning.

In a notable statement, Amorim emphasized his willingness to work until the end of his contract if not replaced. He clearly said: “I will not give up. I will work until someone else comes to replace me.” However, internal tensions led MU’s leadership to decide to terminate the contract earlier than expected.

The official announcement from MU stated they “reluctantly” made this decision, despite Amorim having helped the team reach the Europa League final last season and currently standing sixth in the Premier League. The club believes that a change in the coaching staff at this moment will offer the best opportunity for the remainder of the season.

After being fired, Amorim and his wife were seen strolling around the residential area in Cheshire before preparing to return to Portugal. Leaving the million-pound mansion not only signifies a change of residence but also shows that Amorim has completely closed the Manchester United chapter, ready for a new journey in his coaching career.
